5 Seeds Granola

I had this granola at a famous hotel and they shared the recipe. It is my all time favorite granola, and it’s healthy!

If you are interested in a granola that does not even resemble store bought, you must try this one!

5 Seed Granola Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil

  • 3/4 cup millet

  • 1 cup slivered almonds

  • 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds

  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds

  • 1/3 cup dried fruit (I used cranberries but use what you like)

  • 1/4 cup chia seeds

  • 1/3 cup flaxseed meal

  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds

  • 4 Tablespoons butter (melted)

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1/2 cup plus two Tablespoons of honey, divided

Now let’s make it:

  1. Heat oven to 275 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper

  2. Heat olive oil in a pan and add millet and cook 3-4 minutes until lightly browned

  3. Add all ingredients to a bowl and stir in 1/2 cup of honey, cinnamon, butter and vanilla

  4. Spread on baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes

  5. Stir mixture and add remaining 2 Tablespoons of honey and bake for 10 more minutes.

  6. Cool and store in an airtight container. Enjoy!
